In recent years mushrooms have become increasingly more popular in Basque cuisine. Whereas before, mushrooms were almost exclusively eaten by the pickers themselves, they can now be found on a number of restaurant menu. In addition to more common mushroom and egg, one of nature's most succulent treasures is being employed more and more with new dishes and ingredients.
