Piquillo name is derived from the Spanish for "little beak". Piquillo peppers are fabulously tasty and make wonderful containers for all kind of stuffing. The peppers are the pride of southern Navarre where they are grown bu thousand, then roasted, peeled and preserved in jars and cans. The process is a lengthy one, since the skins are meticulously removed by hand without ripping the triangular pocket of the pepper
